Women’s rights are regressing worldwide.
It’s not an opinion, it’s a fact that the United Nations declared on March 4, 2026.
Women are the definition of what it means to be human. To give life. To give love. To give back. It is just what we do.
Why, then, is it so hard for the our own species to wrap their heads around how women are no longer treated as human.
We have been reduced to a concept.
A delicate concept that must be preserved, protected, purified—yet also ruined, used and tampered.
We are mothers, who raise their children. We are wives, who cook and clean after them. We are servants, who contribute to their economy. Are we doing this to ourseleves?
I find that men have become much more blatant with how they truly feel about us.
Social media has created a false sense of community.
As a man, when all you see are men who crave power and weaponised sex, it is no wonder that you think you are safe and protected online on this ‘manosphere’, by these people that you do not know.
Haiti built it’s first safe house for women—to protect them from gang rapes—last week.
If you are a woman, who thinks they are any different and that they actually matter, wake up.
You are not human.

This reminds me of a quote I read in the book A thousand splendid suns, “A man's heart is a wretched, wretched thing. It isn't like a mother's womb. It won't bleed. It won't stretch to make room for you.”
Keep writing xx I loved this.
this was sooo thought provoking and much needed
